Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!
Every month there is a challenge for the DD/DDA, and this is my card for this month's challenge, Holiday Wrap!! Here are the challenge guidelines:
Challenge Focus: A Christmas/Hanukah/Winter Card inspired by a childhood holiday memory or favorite thing about the season. Tell us about the memory or inspiration in your gallery description
Required Element: Wrapping paper. Use a piece of holiday wrapping paper on your card in some way.
Restricted Element: No snowflake stamps, papers or embellishments.
For this card, I used some gorgeous plaid Christmas wrapping paper that I bought a few years ago when one of my cousins had a fundraiser. I never used it because it is so pretty and I didn't want to waste it on a present...so, it's perfect for a card!!
I pulled out my Papertrey Santa from the Believe set, which I haven't used once this year so far (and I LOVE this Santa). I colored him with my Copics and added some rhinestones to the berries on the holly he is holding. I chose Santa because he is my favorite holiday memory. I can still remember the anticipation of Christmas Eve and not being able to go to sleep because I was SO excited...ahhh those were the days!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! You can see what all the other UBER-talented Dirty Girls/Dirty Alumni have done for this challenge here.
