Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions AND the Bakers Dozen gets to show you another AMAZING new set being released today, Celebrate Life! This set ROCKS my world...it is SO fabulous....I just can't wait for you all to see it!!!
For my first card, I started by stamping this GORGEOUS flower in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I then, using my brayer and a Kaleidacolor Ink Pad, brayered over the entire panel.
To match my brayered panel, I went with a Suede Brown Medium, Intense Pink & Intense Orange color combo, all of which are available at Taylored Expressions!
I ran my Intense Orange panel through the Cuttlebug with my Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and created my sentiment tab, which says "Thinking of You", with my Ribbon Tags Trio Nestabilities and finished off my card with some brads from my stash and some yummy Fudge Twill Ribbon!!
I made another card using this set, and I went with a more Thanksgiving type of look, although this set is UBER versatile!
I started off with More Mustard cardstock and I used I used some retired SU! DSP, Fall Flowers (I think that's the name of it!). I stamped the pumpkin in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I colored it with Copic Markers. I cut out the image with Labels 9 Nestabilities, and I sponged the edges with Memento Tangelo and Memento Potters Clay. I LOVE how these inks sponge!! I seem to get such nice, even coverage with them!
I ran each of my layers through my sewing machine and finished this off with my sentiment in Large & Scallop Oval Punches and some Chocolate Chip Felt Ribbon. I also added some paper piercing just for the fun of it!!!
