Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! Today is my last day as a Sugar Baby for The Sweet Stop Sketch Team! I had a WONDERFUL time these past six months, and I will be sure to continue to play along with these fabulous sketches! Thank you SO much for having me on the team Korin!!Here is my card for today's sketch, SSS49! I LOVE this sketch and had a blast making this card!
I used the absolutely GORGEOUS new set from Verve, Feel The Sun...LOOOOOVE this set!! I started my stamping the quote in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and then cut it out with Rectangle Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo to make it pop. I stamped the three flowers, also in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and then colored them all with Copic Markers. I just started coloring with these colors and that determined the color scheme of my card.
I used NO patterned paper on my card...which for me is quite a feat!! I did add some texture to my Black and Intense Orange panels by embossing them with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The border is Upper Crust by Fiskars and I added Black Pearls along the border and to the visible corners of my focal panel. I finished this one off with a ribbon knot of Black Gingham.
