For my card today, I started with last week's sketch from SCS, SC281! I stamped the Dad (how cool is he!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Classic Crest Cream and colored him with Copic Markers. I then stamped him again onto some My Minds Eye patterned paper (I think it's from the Stomp collection but I am not totally positive), and paper pieced his chair with the same pattern I used on my card!!In hindsight, I should have given him khaki's instead of jeans huh? LOL!!!
All of the panels were sewn on my sewing machine and I did a sort of sloppy stitch. I like how it came out, but it was SO hard to NOT sew in a straight line...I kind of have ocd with stuff like that!! The sentiment, "Happy Father's Day", also from Dadisms, was stamped and cut out/embossed with Oval Nestabilities.
I finished off my card with some Vintage Brads in each corner as well as on the focal panel! No ribbon on this manly card!!
