MFT Previews: Day 1

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

I am THRILLED to be joing the UBER talented MFT Team this month as the MFT July Guest Designer!! Kim has an AMAZING release in store for you, and I have had SO much fun playing with all of the new sets and other goodies (can you say Die-Namics???).

Today, I have the honor of sharing two new sets with you, Banner Day Alphabet and Crusing Cosmo Girl!!

My first card uses the AWESOME Banner Day Alphabet. I ADORE the font in this set, and check out the banner flags! OMG! They are another FAB new product available on the 7th at MFT! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE these!! I cannot get enough of Die-Namics, and I used the Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die to create the scallops on the bottom. I used the Banner Day Alphabet again on the bottom to spell out "birthday" as well!

All the patterned paper on this one is from Fly A Kite by October Afternoon and added just a touch of paper piercing and some linen thread. I really wanted the banners to speak for themselves, so I didn't add any other embellies!

My second card uses the UBER fabu Crusing Cosmo Cirl!! I started by stamping the Mini Cooper (how cute is that!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored it with Copic Markers. I then stamped this sassy Cosmo Girl in the same ink and paper, colored her with Copic Markers and then cut her out and popped her up on some foam tape.

The sentiment, "Crusing By With A Birthday Hi!" is also from Cruising Cosmo Girl and I created a tab for it that I adhered under my focal image.

All the patterned paper is from Report Card by October Afternoon and I added some sewing with my sewing machine. Two red brads on my focal panel and some yummy ribbon finish this one off.
