Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!
I am the hostess this week on the There She Goes Blog, and my challenge, TSG84, is all about the bling!!! Rhinestones, glitter, shimmer...anything goes as long as there's lots of bling!!
For my card, I started with a sketch from The Sweet Stop from last week, SSS84. I always enjoy the sketches from The Sweet Stop and this one is no exception!
I stamped the wreath from the gorgeous, newly released Seasons Greetings in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities and then added the frame with a Copic Multiliner (I will be talking about this on Wednesday on the There She Goes Blog). I sponged the edges, while the paper was in the die, with Memento Cantaloupe and Memento Tangelo to age it a bit. The X Press Blending Card is a VERY bright white.
All of the patterned paper is from Tinsel & Twig by The Girls Paperie (easily my favorite paper this season), and I opted to NOT sew the layers...even though I wanted too! I wanted to try and do something DIFFERENT for a change :)
I framed the focal panel with Lacey Circles Nestabilities (these are getting a workout...LOVE them!), and the sentiment panel is from Just For You, also newly released from There She Goes. I stamped it and then just cut it out to place on my card. Before attaching it, I stamped "Seasons Greetings", from Seasons Greetings (grin) right in the center. Easy peasy!
For my bling, I added TONS of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles all over the card! They are around the Lacey Circles Nestabilities, around the vertical panel in the center and in each corner! I simply placed glue where I wanted each Twinkle, and then, using Embellie Gellie, went around and stuck em' on! LOVE that stuff! A simple Ripe Avocado bow, created with the Bow Easy, finishes this one off (can you tell I am a touch "obsessed" with PTI ribbon these days?).
We would LOVE you to play along! To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the sketch provided then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Dec. 13). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG84 so we can check out your beautiful work!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
