It's no surprise that my card for Bond features an MFT stamp. Both Bond and I {heart} MFT so that was a no brainer!
I started by stamping the sweet Pure Innocence Birthday Princess in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. Her crown and the candles on her cake were shimmered up with some Crystal Glitter. I cut out and embossed the panel with Oval Nestabilities and added oodles of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles all around the edge.
Her dress was paper pieced with the same papers I've used on the rest of the card, Be Mine by Echo Park Papers. I added a border with my much beloved Die-Namics Little Open Scallop Strip (I swear, I think I use this on almost every card) and added a fun paper heart/button combo detail using the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die and the Die-Namics Button Quartet Die. I tied a little piece of black bakers twine through the paper button. Love.
I added a nice big black stitched bow, and layered up the sentiment so it was able to fit in the Circle Nestabilities. Hmmm...come to think of it, this PI girl would be more up Bond's alley if she were holding a bottle of wine (Oh Kim.....).
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
The next stop on this Bond Celebrating Birthday Hop is at the super sweet, and so ridiculously talented, Linda Heavens's Blog!
Bond, Wendy Bond, I hope you have a WONDERFUL Birthday that is every bit as fabulous as you are! Have a glass of vino...or two, and celebrate!!! MWAH!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

ReplyDeleteomg omg omg... this card ROCKS!!! I love every single fabulous detail! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm taking the comment about the funny Canadian accents a bit personally LOL! Us Canadians do stick together you know ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in university in WA state, they used to tease me about mine. So, I was bound and determined to ensure nobody could detect mine and in a short year, I had all the words down...serviette vs napkin, couch vs. chesterfield, cutlery vs. silverware, grades vs. marks, rubber band vs. elastic band, sneakers vs. running shoes etc. etc. By the time I graduated people though I was from Vancouver, WA. Love it :) To this day I still say "huh" versus "eh". Sorry...I regressed LOL!
Great card. I'm sure she will love it.
