Here is my card, finally, for this week's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG88, brought to us by the Trendsetter of the Week (and my BSF), Jessie!! Her challenge is called "Odd Couple" and the challenge is to take several sets and combine them!! SO super fun!!
You should check out the samples from the Trendsetters that were prompt for this challenge (unlike myself)! I was SO inspired by the SUPER talented (not to mention super sweet) Iwona! She combined two sets to create this FANTASTIC card HERE.
THREE There She Goes sets were used in the making of this card (but none were harmed...hardy har har). I started by stamping the bucket from the brand new Buckets Of Love set (I really mean it when I say that you NEED this set! It's SO super versatile and I totally LURVE it!) and then created a mask for it.
I then stamped the coffee cup from The Daily Grind to create a few masks and then started adding them to the bucket. I added one outside the bucket as well. The entire image was colored with Copic Markers and I then cut out and embossed the panel with Square Nestabilities and sponged the edges.
For the sentiment panel, I used Buckets Of Love for the "May Your Day Be Filled With" part of the sentiment, and the "Coffee" is from Let's Get Together!
The layout (once again) is the January SFYTT. I HEART this sketch and I hope you do too! If you complete all twelve sketches this year, there is a HUGE prize up for grabs...like they say, you have to be in it to win it!!
We would LOVE for you to play along with this TSG Challenge! Here are the deets:
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes unconventional set combinations, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Jan 10th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG88 so we can check out your beautiful work!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
