Here is a little bit of sweetness I whipped up using some delicious new goodies from Taylored Expressions!
I am seriously LOVING the new Cozy Cottages stamp set, and I hadn't yet inked up this delish cupcake house! This set is the latest installment in the TE Giving Tree, and through April 2011, Taylored Expressions will donate $7.00 from the sale of each Cozy Cottages stamp set to Habitat For Humanity. AMAZING right?
I started with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from this past Sunday, SSSC103 for my layout (and she actually used this stamp set and stamp on her sample as well!). The patterned paper is all from my current paper obsession, Little Girl from Echo Park Papers, and for the focal panel, I used two different patterns to mimic the sky and the grass.
After I had my sky and grass, I added the FABULOUS picket fence cut with the new Picket Fence Border Die (LOVE) and then cut the entire panel using Circle Nestabilities. I added some fluffy white clouds cut from felt using the new Cloud Duo Die (LOVE). I colored my cupcake house (wish I lived in one of these...yum!) with Copic Markers, cut it out and popped it up onto my scene with Foam Tape.
The background was embossed with the new Hearts Impression Plate (LOVE) and I added a simple bow created with The Bow Easy.
There was no room on the front of the card for a sentiment, so I went ahead and finished off the inside with a strip of some more Little Girl paper, a border created with the Small Scallop Border Die (which I also used on the card front), and I added the sentiment, "A house is made of walls and beams. A home is made of Love and Dreams" and then stamped the cupcake house in Memento Angel Pink on top. All of the layers, front and inside, were sewn on my sewing machine.
Here are the Taylored Dies and Impression Plate I've used on my card today. For more info on Taylored Dies, click HERE.
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
