Your Friendship Makes My Heart Sing!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! SO glad that the weekend is here!

I have TONS of stamping to do to prepare for the next release from There She Goes! I can't WAIT for you to see all of the new sets...they ROCK!!

Speaking of There She Goes, here is a card I created using the ADORABLE set, Love Birds!

Not long ago, I saw THIS CARD that Jess created using this set. I never even thought of putting the bird IN the cage (hello Jodi!), and I knew I wanted to do that very thing!!

I stamped the cage, and the bird and music notes, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored the image with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Square Nestabilities, and while the paper was still in the die, traced the inside edge with a Copic Multiliner to create the frame.

The patterned paper is all from Little Girl from Echo Park Paper (which I just had to order more of...I LOVE it!), and I stamped the sentiment, also from Love Birds, directly onto the patterned paper. It reads "Your friendship makes my heart sing".

I added a border with the Die-Namics Little Open Scallop Strip Die and added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles, in a pretty lavender, in between each scallop. I also added two onto the focal panel for cohesion. A sweet heart, cut with the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, paired with with a button/twine combo, finish this one off!
