MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!! Woo Hoo! Today is the first day of MFTeasers! I am SO excited about this release!!! The first set I get to share with you today is the latest installment in the Flapper Doodles lineup at My Favorite Things, the Flapper Doodles in Hold Me Tight! This is, by far, my favorite Flapper Doodles set yet!!!

I stamped these cuties in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic Markers. I paper pieced their dresses with the samne papers I used on the rest of my card, Stella & Rose Hattie. I added a border using the AMAZING new Die-Namics Simply Scallops Medium Die. I LOVE this die...it is the perfect size scallop!

I added tons of stitching and stamped the sentiment, "Home is where my mom is" (love) directly onto the patterned paper. A simple double loop of Charcoal Baker's Twine adds a cute touch. I added a sweet flower embellishment using more of the same patterned paper and the FABULOUS Die-Namics Pretty Posies Die! LOVE that this die comes with a flower center die as well!! I added a black brad in the center as well as a row of three black brads on the left corner and that finished off the front!

Of course, I had to finish off the inside too! There are just too many sweet sentiments not too! I went super simple with some more of the patterned paper, the image again stamped in silhouette in Memento London Fog, and then added another sentiment, "I love my mom". LOVE that. Some more stitching completes this one.

The next set that I have the pleasure of sharing with you today is an AMAZING new set called Own Your Story! This set is HUGE and is filled with such cool sentiments and images! LOVE! I went with a more scrappy, well, scrappy for me, look on this card.

All of the patterned paper on this card is Emma's Shopppe from Crate Paper, and I used some DELISH new Die-Namics on this one!! Check out the GORGEOUS doily in the background! It was created with the Die-Namics High Tea Doily and Polymer Pop Out Tool. I am in LOVE.

I've also used the new Die-Namics Four Point Frame die to cut out my focal image. LOVE. I added a border with the previously released Die-Namics Faux Crochet Border Die and a fun little element of a heart cut with the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, a rose cut from My Favorite Felt in Strawberry Ice Cream with the Die-Namics Mini Rolled Rose Die and I added a heart stick pin and a bow of Baker's Twine.

I ADORE the sentiments in this set...they are SO uplifting. For the inside of my card I chose to feature two of them that I think work so well together. I started with Be Brave, and then underneath the patterned paper panel, Love Yourself. Such a gorgeous message no? Another border and some bling finish this one off.
