Release Day @ Taylored Expressions!


Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!!

Today is release day @ Taylored Expressions, but before you run over and load up your cart, the Baker's Dozen have one more day of samples for you!!!

Today I am again working with the AWESOME Mom a la carte from Taylored Expressions, and I created a little card and gift card holder combo.  So.Much.Fun.


This time, I decided to paper piece the entire image.  I used the delightful Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen Collection as my paper choices...I just LOVE the red check pattern!  Before adhering the paper pieced portions to the images, I sponged them a bit with Memento Potters Clay for a bit more definition.

I started by stamping the image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock.  I colored the heart and the portion of the mug that I didn't paper piece with Copic Markers.   For the gift card tin, I cut out the panel with the Gift Card Frame Die.  It makes decorating these tins a BREEZE!!!

 For the card,  I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities.  I added a border with the Small Scallop Border Die and added a sweet Jenni Bowlin Cream Vintage Button and some Baker's Twine.  On both, I added TONS of Espresso Dimensional Pearls around the focal panel for some more *oomph*.
