Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!! I am SO excited to be back with another new a la mode from My Favorite Things! Here's hoping that Blogger actually posts my post this time!!
Today I have the pleasure of sharing the a la modes in I Treasure Our Friendship! OMG...I LOVE this new cutie! I think that pirates are so cool and was SO excited when I saw this sassy gal for the first time!!
In the past, we've released our à la modes images in cling rubber, however, this month, we're releasing both of our à la modes in clear photopolymer, just like the rest of our stamps. This means that we can bring them to you a slightly lower price point than usual - $9.00 each! How fabulous is that?! Since our clear stamps are made in the USA, they are of the highest quality, so you'll have the same great image quality that you're accustomed to with any of our other clear stamps! Sweet deal right?
For my card, I started with my friend Jen's new sketch, The Deconstructed Sketch, DS1. I had a blast with this one and I thought it was perfect with this a la mode! She is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers. I, once again, used the new Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky papers from My Minds Eye. I think I may need an intervention.
I added a border with the Open Zig Zag Border Die-Namics and created a fun flower element with the Pretty Posies Die-Namics and the Button Quartet Die-Namics, also both cut from the same papers. I added tons of stitching and the folded over corner was adorned with a White Candy Dot. I created a little sentiment flag for the "Ahoy Matey" sentiment, which is tucked under the flower embellie.
For the inside, I added another panel of patterned paper, another border with the Open Zig Zag Border Die-Namics and another sentiment, "I Treasure Our Friendship". This one is going to my friend Dina for her Birthday later on this month.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the designers previewing this sweetie today! Hope to see you back tonight for the June VIP Blog Hop & Shop!!
