Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!
Tonight is the big release from My Favorite Things, but we have one more day of Teasers to share with you!! I have two cards for you today!
My first card features the latest in the WTG lineup, Girls Rule! You may have seen her, or even picked her up in the April VIP Kit, but if not, you can get her tonight! I just love her. This is a super versatile set, and I have to say, her dress was so fun to paper piece.
I stamped her and colored her with Copic Markers, and then paper pieced her dress. I used two different paper collections on my card today, Emma's Shoppe and Neighborhood, both from Crate Paper. I used a wood grain paper to paper piece the floor. After cutting out the panel, I added another wood grain element with a strip cut with the Die-Namics Simply Scallops Medium Die.
I've used the delightful new Die-Namics Scalloped Ribbon Die as both a border and to stamp my sentiment on. I used part of one of the sentiments from this set, "If you can make a girl laugh", and achored it with a patterned paper heart cut with the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die and button cut from the Die-Namics Button Quartet Die. Tons of machine stitching adorns the front.
For the inside, I used more of the same patterned paper, more machine stitching, and then stamped the rest of the sentiment, "you can make her do anything". Love that.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
My second card today features this month's Triple Scoop set, Clearly Sentimental About Friendship. Just like all of the other sets in the Clearly Sentiment lineup, this set is chock full of beautiful sentiments and quotes. I just knew I wanted to use the sentiment, "Friends by Heart, Sisters by Soul" to make a card for a very wonderful friend.
As you can see, I've used the new Die-Namics Well Worn Label on my card. I love that SO many different sentiments and images from My Favorite Things fit into the Die-Namics. I stamped the sentiment and then stamped the frame from Well Worn Greetings to make it pop. The patterned paper is Stella & Rose Hazel from My Minds Eye, and I used one of the pink patterns for the middle label.
I've also used the new Die-Namics Scallop Ribbon Die, but for this card, I used each side as a border. Super versatile right? Some delightful teal seam binding, adorned with a button that I created with the Die-namics Button Quartet Die, add some pop, and I added three black brads along the bottom as well.
For the inside, I added another beautiful sentiment, "I am blessed by your frienship", and used the Die-Namics Scallop Ribbon Die again, this time adorning it with some Baker's Twine.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
