MFT June Release Blog Hop & Shop!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Tuesday and Happy Release Time from My Favorite Things!!!  Welcome to the June Release Blog Hop & Shop!  If you didn't start the hop from the beginning, please head on over to Kim's Blog so you don't miss a thing!!!

I am seriously in LOVE with this entire release, and the set that I used tonight has to be one of my very favorites, the First Place Award Ribbon Stamp and Die Duo!  LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!

One of Meredith's friends (we call him her boyfriend...lol) will be turning 5 this summer, so I decided to make his Birthday card with this SUPER fun set!  I started by cutting out the largest die in the Blue Ribbon Award Die-Namics out of Kraft Cardstock and then cut the circle die from the same Die-Namics out of Choice Snow White Cardstock.  I pulled out my trusty Sweet Stack Label Die-Namics and used that circle to cut out a piece of patterned paper.  Note how the circles layer so beautifully!

I stamped the frame around the white circle in Pumpkin Pie ink, the star in Soft Sky ink and then added Happy 5th Birthday in Memento Tuxedo Black.  All of the patterned paper is Lime Twist Go Fly A Kite from My Minds Eye.  I added tons of machine stitching, a fun bold scallop border with the Large Simply Scallops Die-Namics and then added three White Candy Dots.  Some Baker's Twine in Mandarin Orange adds a fun accent.

For the inside, I stamped "Happy Birthday" again on the Sno Cone panel and added some stars and more patterned paper.  Easy peasy!
