Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! Today is Day Three of MFTeasers, and it's one of the most popular Teaser days...Pure Innocence Teasers from My Favorite Things!!
I have two cards to share with you today, even though there are several new Pure Innocence sets being released this month!
For my first card, I used the ADORABLE Pure Innocence My Little Firecracker! Isn't she SO super cute? It goes without saying that I just ADORE her!
This little cutie is colored with Copic Markers and cut out with Wonky Rectangle Nestabilities. I paper pieced her dress with one of the patterns from Lime Twist Fly A Kite from My Minds Eye, which is the same collection I've used on the rest of the card. I added a border with the new Open Bracket Border Die-Namics, and a cluster of stars cut with the Stacking Stars Die-Namics. TONS of machine stitching was added of course!
For the inside of my card, I kept it super simple. I tend to use this inside layout alot as it leaves plenty of room for a handwritten message (you know...if I actually SENT my cards to anyone...lol!). Some more of the same patterned paper along with another border created with the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics are all it takes! My card base is my new favorite cardstock color, Sno Cone! Delish!
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
For my second card today, I used the simply DARLING new Pure Innocence Popping By! OMG...this set is SO super cute, I can't even stand it!
I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her shirt with papers from the This & That Collection from Lily Bee Designs, which is also what I used on the rest of the card. I added a teeny tiny amount of Liquid Applique to the popcorn, let it dry overnight (that was painful) and then puffed it up with my heat gun. I added tons of machine stitching as well, and the sentiment, "Popping by to say "hi"!" was stamped onto cardstock cut with the circle from the Blue Ribbon Award Die-Namics, and then layered perfectly with the circle from the Sweet Stack Die-Namics. Ahh...LOVE that!
My layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS4, and the vertical panel was PERFECT for my panel cut with the Mini Film Strip Die-Namics (love love love).
For the inside, I went with my super simple layout again, and added another sentiment from this poppin' set, "You always pop into my thoughts". SO cute! Another border cut with the Mini Film Strip Die-Namics and some more stitching complete the card!
