Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
I am just in love with this past release from Taylored Expressions, so I sat down yesterday with the new sets and played around a bit.
This card uses last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC340, as the layout. I am really loving a cleaner look these days, so this layout was perfect!
I started by cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock with the From The Heart Frame Die and then stamped one of the birdhouses from Birds Of A Feather in Close to Cocoa ink. I then, using the new Birds & Branch Die, cut out a bird to add to the birdcage. Love that!
The patterned paper is the new Lost and Found, Portobello Road from My Minds Eye (yum!) and I added tons of sponging to the edges as well as some machine stitching using a kraft colored thread. I added a big bow of seam binding adorned with a Little Whimsie from Webster's Pages. The sentiment, "Happy Bird Day", also from Birds Of A Feather, was just cut with my snips as a little flag and tucked under the bow. Three Latte Kaisercraft Pearls finish this one off!
Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card today:
Thanks SO much for stopping by!
