Sweet Greetings!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!!

It's week 29 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Here is the sketch {MFTWSC29}:

For this week's sketch, I inked up the ADORABLE Pure Innocence Sweet Greetings, which was just recently released from My Favorite Things!  I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges a bit with some Memento Cantaloupe ink.

The sentiment, "Sweet Greetings", was cut with one of the banner dies from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, and the flower and leaves were cut with the Upsy Daisy Flower Builder Die-Namics out of Banana Split Cardstock and Sour Apple Cardstock respectively.  I added a little heart cut with the Notched Tag Die-Namics out of Cotton Candy Cardstock (how appropriate!).  The background is Berrylicious Cardstock and I embossed it with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.  I added a border of Fossil Cardstock using the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.

The patterned paper is Country Drive from Echo Park Papers, and I have to say...the MFT cardstock is SUCH a perfect match!  In fact, I find that the MFT cardstock colors match patterned papers better than any other brand (and believe me...I have them all!).   My personal favorite is Sno Cone Cardstock...it matches SO many papers I love!

For the inside I added a panel with another sentiment from Pure Innocence Sweet Greetings, "You are one of the sweetest things in my life", and added some more patterned paper and another border of Fossil Cardstock cut with the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC29 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, July 26 to play along.  Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
