Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!
It's week 32 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC32! I totally ♥ this sketch!
For my card today, I used the ADORABLE new Pure Innocence Caramel Apple. I hadn't had a chance to ink her up for the release, and I thought this sketch was just perfect to show her off! She is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copic Markers and then "fussy" cut out. I popped her up with Jody Boosters on a patterned paper panel.
All of the papers on my card are from Sunshine Broadcast from Sassafras Lass (I was totally enabled by Michele Boyer to get this paper). The sentiment, "Fallin' For You" was stamped onto a panel cut with the File Tab Die-Namics (LOVE this Die-Namics Die). The border was cut with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics, and I used my beloved Pretty Posies Die-Namics, along with the Button Quartet Die-Namics, for the flower accent. I threaded the paper button with some twine. I finished off the front with oodles of machine stitching and some vanilla brads.
The inside has some more of the same patterned paper, and I stamped this cutie again, this time in River Rock ink, and added another sentiment from the set, "You're A Bushel Of Fun". I added some more machine stitching as well.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.
Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC32 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, August 16 to play along. Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the designers working with this sketch today!
