Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!
This week, My Favorite Things is sponsoring the CPS Sketch, CPS231. It's an awesome sketch and this was a fun card to create!
I needed a Get Well Soon card for the mom of one of our friends who had to have an emergency hip surgery. I sure hope this card made her smile. I started by stamping this DARLING Pure Innocence Best Medicine in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock, colored her with Copic Markers and then "fussy cut" her out. She is popped up on Jody Boosters onto a Fossil panel embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.
The patterned paper is all Splendid from Authentique, and I separated the patterns with a double border of the Solid Bracket Border Die-Namics cut with Fossil Cardstock, and then the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics cut with Choice Buttercream layered over top. I also added tons of machine stitching and a gorgeous pink ribbon/bow combo. The sentiment, "Get Well Soon" was stamped and then cut out with one of the banners from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, layered on top of Fossil cardstock cut with the other banner from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.
The inside is super simple with more patterned paper, layered border, and another sentiment, "Sending Well Wishes", which is from Pure Innocence Better Get Better. Some more stitching completes the inside.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
