Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today is the last day of MFTeasers for the big My Favorite Things release tonight!
I have two sets to share with you today...and if you are a VIP and picked up the August VIP Kit, you know that one of the sets I am talking about is the FABULOUS Sunflower Who's That Girl! I just love her!
This layout is one of my favorites...pretty simple with four squares of patterned paper, in this case I used Splendid from Authentique (swoon!) and then a circular focal point. I am a sucker for a WTG in a circle! She is colored with Copic Markers and I paper pieced her dress with one of the same patterns I used on the card. She is cut out with Circle Nestabilities and layered on a panel cut with the new Open Scallop Doily Duo. The sentiment, "Count Your Blessings" was stamped onto a panel that was cut with the Bracket Tab Die-Namics. Three wooden buttons threaded different ways with Charcoal Twine, along with a big old gingham bow (courtesy of Kim's sweet daughter!), finish off the front.
For the inside, I added a panel cut with the Well Worn Label Die-Namics and I stamped another sentiment from the set, "Wishing You Sunshine and Sunflowers". Love it!
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
Next up is this month's Triple Scoop Set, All Smiles! All of the patterned paper on this one is Lost and Found - Madison Avenue from My Minds Eye (love) and it's also for one of the upcoming DTGD Challenges on SCS (are you a fan club member?).
I stamped the sentiment, "Your Smile Brightens My Day" and cut it out with Circle Nestabilities. I layered it over a piece of Hot Fudge Cardstock cut with the Open Scallop Doily Duo. The flower was created with the Pretty Posies Die-Namics out of one of the patterns and adorned with a button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics (currently being restocked). I added a Leafy Flourish under the flower along with some ribbon. The border was cut with the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.
There are SO many darling sentiments in this set, I had to add another inside. I chose "May Every Part Of Your Day Have Happy In It" and layered it with Well Worn Label Die-Namics.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
