Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the second day of MFTeasers for the awesome new September release from My Favorite Things! Today, I am sharing the gorgeous new Inspired By Flowers 3 with you!
All of the stamp sets in the Inpired By line are so easy to work with! They are so beautifully drawn, that I have chosen, on today's card, to simply stamp the flower and not color it in. I just added a bit of a shadow around it with a Copic Marker. I stamped the flower directly onto a piece of patterned paper, which is all from Lost and Found Two/Breeze from My Minds Eye. This paper is so gorgeous...I thought it was perfect with this new set!
I split one of the sentiments from this set to use on both the front and inside of my card. On the front, using the Bracket Tab Die-Namics, I stamped "You Are Beautiful" onto another piece of patterned paper. I added a twill bow with a button from My Minds Eye and added some brads to the four corners of the focal panel. Tons of stitching on my machine was added as well.
For the inside, I finished off the sentiment with "Don't You Forget That". Some more patterned paper, stitching and brads were added too.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
Here are the details about the upcoming release on September 6 at 10 PM EST:
- The guest designer contest is ON! Check out the forum for details on how YOU can win over $100 in stamp sets and play along with the DT for a month.
- We're offering you the chance at Teaser Time prizes every day during our new release preparations! Each day, two prize vouchers are held by members of our Design Team. Starting this month, you'll have all week to comment on each of the posts - all the winners will be posted on Tuesday, September 6th around 7:30pm. Be sure to check the MFT Blog to see if perhaps YOU were one of our lucky FOURTEEN winners! Remember to leave a method of contact in your comments, because if you're selected as a prize winner, but we can't reach you, then we can't get you your prize!
