Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!
In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're all putting down the markers, pencils and paints and sharing projects with No Coloring! Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of designers that have taken up the challenge!
For my card today, I started with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from Sunday, SSSC134. I was in a Fall mood, so I pulled out the every adorable Pure Innocence Li'l Pumpkin and stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock. It was weird to not color her, I'll be honest!
All of the patterned paper is All Spice from My Minds Eye, and I added a border cut from Hot Fudge Cardstock using the Faux Crochet Border Die-Namics. I added the sentiment, "Li'l Pumpkin", which was stamped on cardstock cut with the small banner from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics and anchored it to my card using a corduroy button tied with Cappuccino Twine.
I added a twill ribbon and bow, tied with The Bow Easy, and two corduroy brads as per the sketch. Tons of machine stitching finishes off the front.
For the inside, I added more patterned paper and stamped her again, this time in Pumpkin' Pie ink, and added another sentiment, "A Harvest of Memories, A Day of Thanks", and finished it with more stitching.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
