It's week 42 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC42!
OK...I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sketch and plan on using it ALOT in the future. All these layers were right up my layer-loving alley and even with all the layers, this card came together in a snap!
I used the ADORABLE Pure Innocence Little Witch for my card today. I truly just ADORE her. I stamped her, colored her with Copic Markers, paper pieced her dress and then cut her out. All of the patterned paper is Mischevious from My Minds Eye. Love this color combination for Halloween.
The sentiment, "Too Cute To Spook" was stamped on a panel cut with the File Tab Die-Namics and tucked under one of the tilted panels. I added two black brads and opted to NOT sew on this one.
For the inside, I let the patterned paper be the background and stamped this sweet Pure Innocence Little Witch again, this time in Really Rust ink, and then added another sentiment from this set, "Best Witches". Another two black brads finish off the inside.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.
Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC42 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, October 25 to play along. Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
