Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It's week 44 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC44!
Oh my word. I had SO much fun making this card!!! I was in a Christmas-y mood, so I pulled out the ADORABLE and brand new Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler...isn't she super sweet? She is colored with Copic Markers and I paper pieced her dress with the same papers I've used on the card...Seasons Greetings from Echo Park Papers. After I cut her out, I popped her up onto a panel cut with the brand new Oval Dainty Doily Die-Namics (love!).
The sentiment, "Fa-la-la-la-la" was stamped onto a panel cut with the smallest banner die from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics (just one of the Die-Namics now available with OR without the coordinating stamp set!). I added some selective stitching, some Vintage Brads, and a border cut with the brand new Wonky Scallop Border Die-Namics. I finished this one off with a flower and leaves cut with the Upsy Daisy Flower Builder Die-Namics...I thought it looked like a poinsettia!
For the inside I added some more patterned paper, another border cut with the Wonky Scallop Border Die-Namics, and then added a sentiment panel using the new Vintage Cameo Frame Die-Namics, and another sentiment, "Christmas Is Sharing, Christmas Is Love", stamped onto a panel cut with the larger banner in the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.
Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC44 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, November 8 to play along. Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
