Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! Can you even BELIEVE we are already into December? Yikes! I am 99% done with my Christmas shopping...well, Santa is (wink), so now it's time for the December Sketch For You To Try! Check it out...it's awesome (of course!).
All of the SFYTT girls are using a sponsor from this year for their card today, and since we are smack dab in the midst of MFTeasers, and since I simply ADORE MFT, I decided to feature MFT for my card today.
OK...so I totally love how this card came out...is that bad to say? I used the SUPER cute Pure Innocence Snow Day from MFT and colored her with Copic Markers. Her jacket and hat were paper pieced with the same papers I've used on the rest of my card, Lost and Found Christmas from My Minds Eye (love).
I cut out the circle with Circle Nestabilities and layered it with a panel cut with the Dizzy Doily Die-Namics. The sentiment, "Snow Day" was stamped on a panel cut with the new Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics, being released on Tuesday (yay!). I added three circles cut with Circle Nestabilities and then added three red Candi's (have you seen these) that I got from my LSS. So fun!
For the inside I added some more patterned paper, stitching, and another sentiment from this set, "You Warm My Heart", which I adore.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
1. The SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {SFYTT} will be posted on the first Saturday of each month on www.iheart2stamp.com at 8am EST and will stay open to participants until the last day of the month, unless otherwise noted.
2. This is for fun! Interpret the sketch as you wish and embellish as desired. There are no vendor restrictions, but we would love to see you use the sponsor’s stamps!
3. Each month we will have a Designer of the Month that will be chosen from past month’s participants.
4. Come and play with us on each and every sketch! On Christmas Day 2011 a prize package worth over $200 will be given away to one very lucky and loyal SFYTT stamper that participates in EVERY sketch for the year.
5. To be eligible for the prize package, you must complete ALL of the sketches by each of the deadlines AND link your creation to the link system on that month’s sketch post (the first Saturday of the month). Everyone except for SFYTT Sisters are eligible for the prize package, including Designer of the Month and international players.
6. When posting your sketch creation on your blog, please post the sketch and link back to the sketch post on www.iheart2stamp.com. When posting to online galleries, please use the keyword “SFYTT.”
Check out what my super fab SFYTT sisters have done with this sketch today here:

ReplyDeleteOK, I came here looking for this post specifically (and wasn't disappointed, it's adorable as always) and I'm so behind on my blog reading that I've been sucked in by all this fabulousness you've posted in just the last 4 or 5 days since I was here last that I've now successfully whiled away at least a half hour of my evening!! BUT...the good news is I'm leaving feeling quite inspired!!
