Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!!
Yesterday we attended a birthday party for my niece, and we got her an iTunes gift card to go along with the iPod Touch that her parents got her. For her birthday card, I used the ADORABLE Pure Innocence Tweeny Tween Rock On from My Favorite Things! Isn't she perfect to go along with the iTunes gift card?
The layout is this week's sketch over at The Sweet Stop, SSS138. I used to cringe at the mere thought of a tilted panel, but I have embraced the tilt and love it when a tilted panel is on a card. I colored her with Copic Markers and her bean bag chair was paper pieced with the same patterned paper I used on my card, Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky from My Minds Eye.
I stamped the sentiment "rock my socks" (I omitted the word "you") onto a panel cut with the new (and awesome!!) Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics. I then added two layered circles, the smaller one cut with the Homespun Birdhouse Die-Namics, and then added a "u" on top cut from patterned paper using the new By The Letters Die-Namics. A ribbon/bow combo and some silver brads complete the front.
On the inside I added a panel with this groovy gal again, this time stamped in Pink Passion, and another sentiment from this set, "Rock On". Love it!
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
