You Make My Heart Skip!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!

Here is a card I created using this week's Sketch on SCS, SC367!   I used the darling new Moka Cherie from Taylored Expressions to create this sweet little Valentine.

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  The heart she is holding was paper pieced with the same patterned papers I've used on my card, Yours Truly from Echo Park Papers.

I had SO much fun coloring her, and for her hair I used a combination suggested by Jen Shults on this AMAZING Moka Hair Color Chart.  This is a free download from Taylored Expressions that you can find right HERE.  I think this is an amazing resource!  For Moka Cherie's hair I used the Copic Hair Color Kit in Brown.

I stamped the sentiment, "You Make My Heart Skip", also from Moka Cherie, and cut it into a little tag and attached it to the focal panel.  I added lots of zig zag stitching and for the two elements in the sketch, I cut out two hearts using the new Hearts A Plenty Taylored Dies and adorned them with buttons and twine.
