Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It's week 59 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC59!
I had a lot of fun with this one! I inked up the super sweet Pure Innocence Violin Girl and paper pieced her dress with the same papers I've used on my card, Be Happy from My Minds Eye. I colored her with Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. On the panel she is popped up on I added a border with the Solid Bracket Border Die-Namics.
The sentiment, "Good Friends Are Always In Harmony" was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, and I tucked it under her. I added a button and some new Flax Twine (OMG...LOVE this new color!) for a bit of fun.
For the inside I've added more of the same patterned papers, and another border with the Solid Bracket Border Die-Namics. I love this border...it adds just the perfect touch! I added some more Flax Twine with another button! I added another sentiment from this set, Pure Innocence Violin Girl, "The Sound Of Your Voice Is Music To My Ears".
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.
