Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! It's week 63 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC63!
I took advantage of the fabulous big focal panel on the sketch to create a scene! It's been SO lovely here in New York, so I was feeling a bit Spring-y when creating this! I've used the darling Pure Innocence Aim High and she is colored with Copic Markers. Her dress was paper pieced with one of the papers I've used on my card, Little Girl from Echo Park Papers. I've also used the new Dots & Stripes Soda Fountain papers, also from Echo Park Papers.
I added a nice bright sun up in the sky with the Sunshine Die-Namics. I added a bling circle around the edge...love those bling circles! I've also added two clouds using the Flat Bottom Cloud Die-Namics.
The fence was cut with the Woodgrain Fence Die-Namics and the grass with the Fresh Cut Grass Die-Namics.
The kite was cut with the Fly Your Kite Die-Namics and I added a heart cut with the Notched Tag Die-Namics...here is a closeup of the little bows...I added bling to the center of each, and the kite string is Blossom Twine.
On the inside I've added more patterned paper, and stamped this cutie again, this time in Cool Caribbean ink. The sentiment, "Happy Thoughts Are Coming Your Way", also from Pure Innocence Aim High.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.
