For my card today I started with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS49, for the layout. It was perfect for all the Die-Namics I had in mind for this card. I stamped this sweet Pure Innocence Freckles in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card, colored her with Copic Markers and then paper pieced her outfit. I then fussy cut her out and popped her up onto two layered panels cut with the new Designer Label 1 STAX Die-Namics. I LOVE these new Die-Namics as a design element!
All of the patterned paper is Konnichiwa from Basic Grey. I used the new Vertical Greetings 2 Die-Namics and cut it in half, attaching one side to either side of the focal panel. I also pulled out my beloved Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics to create the flag portions of the sketch. A bit of Natural Jute Twine was tied around the panel for a bit of embellishment.
Here is a closeup of this little cutie. I just love those freckles! The sentiment on the front, "For A Sweet Friend", is from the new Pure Innocence All Occassion Sentiments. I LOVE this new set...it has SO many every day sentiments...this one will get LOTS of use!
On the inside I stamped her again, this time in Pumpkin Pie Ink, and added two more sentiments, both from Pure Innocence All Occassion Sentiments, "Happy Birthday" and "xoxo". LOVE.
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:
