I have two projects to share with you today! My first card features two new sets, the GORGEOUS Oops A Daisy and the stunning Daisy Bouquet, both illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes line at Taylored Expressions!
Normally, I lean towards to more cutesy look, but I must admit, I LOVE how this card came out! All of the patterned paper is Howdy Doody from My Minds Eye, and I stamped the daisies in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock. I cut them out using the fabulous new Daisy Taylored Dies, which coordinate perfectly with Oops A Daisy! I then colored them with Copic Markers and used Spica Glitter Pens to give them a bit of sparkles in the centers.
I added some yummy crochet trim and jute twine from my stash. I then cut a tag with the new Mini Tags Taylored Dies (you need these...Oh my word! LOVE them!) out of some patterned paper. I stamped a sentiment from Daisy Bouquet "Happy Birthday" and then attached it to the card with some more twine. All of the edges on the panels and the tag were given a bit of texture with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

Next up I created a set of four clean and simple cards using the Father's Day Digi! I printed out four of them, cut them with Circle Nestabilities and then colored them with Copic Markers. I inked all of the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to give the panels some definition.
Here is a picture of the set of four:
All of the patterned paper is Be Amazing from My Minds Eye. I added rhinestone circles around the focal panels and then cut out two other circles of patterned paper. I also cut out stars using the Seeing Stars Taylored Die and then added them as well. The bottom corners were all rounded with the Corner Chomper.
The Father's Day Digi is FREE with the purchase of
any May Release Bundle and there are several to choose from. The Digi is not being offered for sale. You will download both an open line image and
a 2nd pre-colored image for super fun, quick cards and projects. You will also be able to download an
inspiration sheet showing all of the projects created by the Baker's Dozen this
week. Be sure to check out the Bundle
Options on the Specials page on
Release Day, Thursday.
