I have two projects to share with you today! First up I have a card that I created using the previously released Celebrate Freedom a la carte! This a la carte, the 4th of July a la carte or God Bless America a la carte can be yours free with any $50 purchase (before shipping or tax). Which one will you choose?
For my card today I used cardstock from the new 4th of July Project Pantry Kit being released today. I embossed the fireworks from the Celebrate Freedom a la carte in silver embossing powder onto the navy cardstock panel. I cut a piece of the red cardstock with the From The Heart Frame Taylored Die and used it as a base for my "USA" cut from Choice Buttercream Cardstock using the fabulous new Tall & Skinny Alpha Taylored Dies (love).
I stamped "Celebrate Freedom" onto a piece of Kraft Cardstock and then snipped it into a flag. I attached it to the card and anchored it the card with a star cut with the Seeing Stars Taylored Die and a heart cut with the Mini Tags Taylored Dies, tied with some twine. I added lots of stitching with my Janome Sew Mini.
Here is a closeup of the USA panel.

Next up I have a set of cards that I created to add to my Birthday Card stash (which is constantly in need of replenishing!). I wanted them to be easy to mass produce, and these fabulous new Petal Pop Ups Taylored Dies are just the ticket!
I started with Choice Snow White Cardstock and stamped the sentiment, "Happy Birthday To You" from the new Bikes & Trikes set in Memento Tuxedo Black and then impressed the front of each card using the Houndstooth/Damask Taylored Impression Plate. I rounded the bottom corners with The Corner Chomper.
I cut the flowers using the new Petal Pop Ups 1 (aren't these SO cool?) in three different colors and then arranged them onto the card bases. I then added kraft buttons in the center of each one and finished the top of each with some Baker's Twine.
Here is a closeup of the texture, flowers and sentiment. Super fun no? There are SO many possibilities...use softer colors for a wedding or baby card, darker colors for a masculine look...I can't wait to get started on more of these!
Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on these:
