MFTeasers: Day Three!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!

Today is Day Three of MFTeasers!  Are you enjoying all the peeks so far?  I know I am!

Today I have a card to share with you using the FABULOUS Clearly Sentimental About Coffee, which was last month's Triple Scoop Set!  Of course, with a blog title like mine, you might guess that I LOVE this set!

I started with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS73, for the layout, and all of the patterned papers are For The Record 2, Documented, from Echo Park Papers.  I love the colors in this paper pack, and even more than that, I LOVE the new color of cardstock (and felt...and ribbon...and buttons!!!) MFT is releasing this month...Nightshift Blue!!!  SWOOOOOOONING!  I have been searching for SO LONG for the perfect navy...and alas, here it is!  LOVE Nightshift Blue!!!

I cut out two circles using the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics, out of Sweet Tooth and Nightshift Blue and I stamped the sentiment in Navy Fresh Ink.  I then cut another half circle of patterned paper a la Joanne (LOVE how she does this).

I used the new Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics (yes...Fishtail Flags Layers STAX layer with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics...could I be happier?  I think not!), to create the flag panel, and I added a border on the horizontal panel with the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics.  I also wrapped a bit of Hemp Cord around this panel.

I used the AMAZING new Sunflowers Die-Namics to create the flower, and I cut it from Lemon Drop Yellow Cardstock.  The center was cut from Kraft Cardstock and the leaves were cut from Jellybean Green Cardstock using the Royal Leaves Die-Namics.  All of the panels, including the flowers and leaves, were lightly sponged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.  I finished off the front with three vintage brads.

On the inside I added more Kraft Cardstock, and I used Sweet Tooth for the matting, and stamped another sentiment, "Coffee is always a good idea".  Yep, I couldn't agree more.
