MFTeasers: Day Two!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Thursday!

Today is Day 2 of MFTeasers and today we are sharing with two brand new sets from a brand new line @ MFT...Laina Lamb Designs!  YAY!  I LOVE these two new sets, Document It December and Journal It Top Ten!

Both of these sets are PERFECT for Project Life, Scrapbooking, Smash Books and cards, and today I've paired elements from both of these sets with the previously released Pure Innocence Making A List to create a holiday card.

Here in our house, Santa list making has already commenced, and so I thought I'd make a card for my Meredith...the best Santa list maker around!  I started by cutting a piece of Sweet Tooth Cardstock with the new Insert It Die-Namics and I stamped the paper lines from Journal It Top Ten in Pool Fresh Ink.  I then stamped the numbers in Red Currant Fresh Ink.  I stamped "Making A List" in Tuscan Olive Fresh Ink and then drew in a carrot (that's what they are called right?) and stamped "Santa" in Red Currant Fresh Ink.

I stamped this little cutie onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  Her dress was paper pieced with the same papers I've used on the rest of the card, Aspen Frost from Basic Grey (my current obsession).  I added a bit of Hemp Cord tied in a bow and I used the Open Scallop Edge Die-Namics to create a border on the horizontal panel.

I used the new Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics (LOVE) for the two layered circles and I stamped "25" in the center.  I also used these new Die-Namics for the "December" panel on the bottom of my card.

On the inside I added more patterned paper and I used the new Insert It Die-Namics again for the inside panel.   I stamped "Naughty?" and "Nice?" inside...after all, Santa would definitely want to know if you are naughty or nice!
