Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!
I have a card to share with you today using the new MFT Sketch, MFTWSC99!! I love an angled panel, so this sketch was SUPER fun for me!
Normally, I would reach for a cute little Pure Innocence, or perhaps a sassy á la mode for a sketch like this, but I wanted to go a bit scrappy, so I pulled out the AWESOME new Journal It Calender Basics set (LOVE) and created an (late) anniversary card for my parents, who celebrated their 40th on October 29th!
I have to admit, I super love how this came out (grin). I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Cardstock with the Insert It Die-Namics and then stamped the calendar and the days. I cut a piece of Kraft cardstock using the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics and stamped "October" and popped that panel up with Jody Boosters.
I used the new Accent It Calendar Components (also love) and cut the heart from Red Hot Felt. This is my most FAVORITE color of felt...it's just DELISH! I accented it with a Kraft arrow cut with the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics.
I used the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics AGAIN (can you tell I love these Die-Namics) and cut another panel from Kraft to which I stamped "XOXO" from the Pure Innocence All Occassion Sentiments set. I added a Steel Grey Grosgrain Ribbon, tied with Hemp Cord, and I added a Berrylicious Button to that as well.
On the inside I added more patterned paper, which by the way, is all Walnut Grove from Pebbles, and stamped "Congratulations", also from Pure Innocence All Occassion Sentiments. I then added a panel cut with the new Accent It Story Starters Die-Namics (these are SO cool!).
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

Awesome birthday card idea with this set! Love it Jodi!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love what you did with the inside. My mom and dad were married on Nov. 1st. I'm noticing a "new trend" emerging where people are once again getting married in October vs. summer months. Happy Thanksgiving!
