Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.
But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally!
Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last.
We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.
And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.
I have two projects to share with you today, and first up is a trio of cards I created using the AWESOME new Winter Wreath Die-Namics. LOVE.This.Wreath. These were a snap to make, the Die-Namics did all the work, and I think they pack a punch!
I started with a card base of Natural Cardstock rounded the bottom corners. I sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I then cut two wreaths for each card out of Jellybean Green Cardstock and then layered them and attached them to my card.
I then cut the bows from Wild Cherry Cardstock, sponged the edges as well, and then attached them to the wreath with Jody Boosters. I added a Natural Button to the center of each ribbon tied with Hemp Cord. The sentiment, "Peace, Love, Joy" is from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas.
Here is a closeup. As I said above, I LOVE.This.Wreath.
On the inside I added another sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas, "May Your Season Be Filled With Love and Laughter".
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
My second card features two new Die-Namics dies, Snow Drifts Die-Namics and Santa's Sleigh Die-Namics! This was SO fun to make!
I started with a card base of Kraft Cardstock, layered with Whip Cream Cardstock and then used Nightshift Blue Cardstock for the focal base. I stamped "Belive in the Magic of Christmas" from Seasonal Sentiments, in Versamark and then embossed it with white embossing powder. I stamped snowflakes from the same set in Paper White Fresh Ink randomly around the "sky" area.
Using Sweet Tooth Felt, I cut two snow drifts using the Snow Drifts Die-Namics and attached them to my card. The sleigh was cut from the new Paver Red Cardstock (yum) for the top and Black Licorice for the bottom. I wrapped some Hemp Cord around the sled and attached three jingle bells that I've had in my stash for, literally, years. I knew they would get used someday (grin!).
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments, "Season's Greetings". Love.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
