MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Wednesday!

Today is Day One of MFTeasers!  YAY!  I have two cards to share with you today using two brand new sets!  First up, I have a card featuring the fabulous new Gift Card Greetings II!  I LOVE this new set, and of course, the coordinating Die-Namics, the Gift Card Pocket Horizontal Die-Namics!  LOVE!!

For my card I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS79, for the layout.  All of the patterned papers are On Trend from Crate Paper.  I cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock using the new Gift Card Pocket Horizontal Die-Namics and stamped the sentiment from Gift Card Greetings II, "When thinking of the perfect gift, Shopping topped the list!".

The flower was created with the new Winter Rose Die-Namics and I cut it from Razzle Berry Felt.  The center was cut from both the On Trend Crate Paper and Banana Split Cardstock.  I added a silver brad in the center of the flower and two more on the far left panel.

On the inside I added more patterned paper, along with another sentiment, "Treat yourself to something fun".  I LOVE these sentiments!  SO perfect for so many occassions!  I used Hot Fudge for the card base and Kraft for the main panels.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

My second card features the fantastic new On The Line set!  This set has awesome sentiments and I love the design of them all!  For my card, I started with the current sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS187

All of the patterned papers are Oliver from My Minds Eye.  I stamped the sentiment onto a panel of patterned paper and cut it out, and layered it, as I did with the panel behind it, with Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  I cut two circles using the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  It's been awhile, but I pulled out my Janome Sew Mini and went a little stitch-happy.

I've used the new Winter Rose Die-Namics again to create the flower, but this time I layered two of the same size flowers and then added the centers.  I love this new flower Die-Namics.  I added a Steel Grey Button to the top of the circle panels, and I've used Steel Grey for the card base.

On the inside I added more patterned paper, more stitching, and another sentiment from On The Line, "This is your special day".

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
