Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday and Happy MFT Release Night!!
All of the new goodies are available NOW in the MFT Boutique, but before you go and fill up your cart, the MFT Design Team has a New Product Tour to share with you all of the new stamp sets released tonight!
I have the absolute pleasure of sharing with you the ADORABLE new Doodle Garden Sweet Friend! I LOVE her, so much that I have two cards to share with you today!!
First up, I created a card making her a brunette. I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out and layered the panel with the Oval STAX 1 Die-Namics and Oval STAX 2 Die-Namics. All of the patterned papers are Lucky In Love by My Minds Eye.
Here is a closeup. On this card, I colored her entirely, and did not do any paper piecing.
The heart was cut with the new Heart STAX Die-Namics from Bubblegum Felt and I added a Sno Cone Button tied with some Hemp Cord. The border was cut with the fabulous new Layered Heart Border Die-Namics.
On the inside I added more patterned paper, another border, and stamped the sentiment, "Sending Love and Hugs", using the FAB new Black Licorice MFT Ink.
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

For my second card, I made her into a blonde (grin). Again, I stamped her on X Press It Blending Card and this time, I cut out the panel, and layered it, with Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.
For my second card, I made her into a blonde (grin). Again, I stamped her on X Press It Blending Card and this time, I cut out the panel, and layered it, with Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.
Here is a closeup. On this card, I paper pieced her dress using the same papers I've used on the card, Farm Girl from October Afternoon.
I added a fun element with the awesome new Heart Doily Die-Namics, and I also added Jellybean Green Cardstock cut with the Leaf Filled Flourish Die-Namics. I used the Layered Heart Border Die-Namics again and the sentiment, "Sweet Friend" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics. I added a Jellybean Green Button tied with some Hemp Cord (and yes, if you are wondering, I think I am unable to create a card without adding Hemp Cord).
On the inside I added more patterned paper, another border, and another sentiment, "sending love and hugs".
