MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Tuesday and welcome to Day 1 of MFTeasers!! WAHOO!!

As usual, we have an AMAZING release for you, and today we are starting things off with two fabulous new sets from Lisa Johnson, Embellished Eggs and Spring Backgrounds!!

My card today features Embellished Eggs, along with the AH-mazing new Woven Basket Die-Namics and Easter Elements Die-Namics, all of which I ADORE!  I started by cutting the basket from Kraft Cardstock using the Woven Basket Die-Namics (swoon) and I sponged it a bit with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

The eggs were all cut with the Easter Elements Die-Namics (swoon) out of Sweet Tooth Cardstock and I stamped them in Sno Cone Ink, Lemon Drop Yellow Ink, and the brand new (yay!) Pink Lemonade Ink!  I arranged them "inside" the basket and added a bow cut from Pink Lemonade using the Easter Elements Die-Namics and topped with a Sno Cone Button tied with Hemp Cord.

I added a trio of elements outside the basket, another egg, a sweet chick, and a little peep (OMG...how CUTE right?) all cut with the Easter Elements Die-Namics.  The sentiment, "Easter Blessings" was stamped in Black Licorice Ink onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics and tucked under the trio of elements.

On the inside, I simply added another piece of patterned paper, which is all Fabulous from Simple Stories, and in the open space, I stamped "Happy Spring".
