Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It's time for a new MFT Sketch! This week, we are up to MFTWSC130, and it's another great sketch!!
I know I say this in every blog post, but I had so much fun creating this (and isn't that what this "hobby" is all about?)! I pulled out Life's Direction and MPD Distressed Background Blocks and got to work!
I used the Heirloom Label Die-Namics for the focal panel and cut it from Kraft Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, from Life's Direction, in Hot Fudge Ink. I sponged the edges, as I did with most of the other panels, with Kraft Ink. I used Electric Red for the horizontal panel and stamped it with Electric Red Ink using MPD Distressed Background Blocks. I love the look of that!
I used the gorgeous Sunflower Die-Namics to create the flower, and cut it out twice with Lemon Drop Yellow Ink. I layered the panels with Jody Boosters for lots of dimension. The leaves were cut using the Royal Leaves Die-Namics from Jellybean Green Cardstock. I used the fabulous Chicken Wire Die-Namics for the bottom panel, layering same cut from Kraft Cardstock over Primitive Cream Cardstock. These colors together make me happy.
On the inside I added another Electric Red panel stamped with MPD Distressed Background Blocks in Electric Red Ink, and then stamped another sentiment from Life's Direction in Hot Fudge Ink.
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
