MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!  Today is the first day of teasers for the new MFT Release!  YAY!  I LOVE Teaser Time!  The new release will be available on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10:00 PM HERE in the MFT Boutique!

I have two cards to share with you today, and both of my cards feature the GORGEOUS new Lisa Johnson Designs Blissful Butterflies and the Blissful Butterflies Die-Namics!  SWOON!

For my first card, I used last week's Mojo Monday Sketch, MOJO295!   I created the background using Sno Cone Cardstock and stamped one of the butterflies in Sno Cone ink repeatedly.  I then added a Grapesicle panel to the bottom stamped with the GORGEOUS new Art Expression Text in the new Grapesicle ink!  I separated the two panels with a panel of Steel Blue Cardstock.

Using Smooth White Cardstock I cut the butterflies with the Blissful Butterflies Die-Namics and stamped it with the new Grapesicle Ink.  I LOVE the pattern!  I popped it up with Jody Boosters onto two squares cut with the Square STAX 1 Die-Namics and Square STAX 2 Die-Namics.  The sentiment, "Hello, Dear Friend" in Black Licorice Ink onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.  I anchored it to my card using a Sno Cone Button tied with Hemp Cord.

I added a border underneath the Steel Blue panel cut with Smooth White cardstock using the Dainty Lace Border Die-Namics.  I think it goes so perfectly with these new stamps and Die-Namics!  All of the patterns were lightly sponged with their corresponding color of ink.

On the inside I added a Grapsicle panel and stamped Art Expression Text again in Grapesicle Ink.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

For my second card, I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS103, for the layout.  All of the patterned papers are Cambridge Court from My Minds Eye.  I started by cutting two oval panels using the Oval STAX 1 Die-Namics and Oval STAX 2 Die-Namics.  I cut a butterfly from Smooth White Cardstock using the new Blissful Butterflies Die-Namics and stamped it in Sno Cone Ink.  I added a rhinestone to each antennae.

I used the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-Namics to cut the flag behind the ovals, and I used the sweet Dainty Bows Die-Namics to cut the bow from Razzle Berry Felt.

Here is a closeup of the butterfly and bow.  Super sweet no?  You can see I wrapped the card with Hemp Cord as per the sketch.

On the inside I put my beloved Sweet Stack Labels Die-Namics to work to feature the sentiment, "Wishing You Joy On This Special Day".  I added two more rhinestones to match the front.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

  20. Both cards are amazing. Love the colors, design and details. Tone on tone is one of my favorite techniques. The addition sponging on the edges just ups the value that much more. Thanks for sharing.
