Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
Welcome to the MFT Design Team Creative Challenge - Christmas In July! The MFT Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, it's all about Christmas...in July!
I have two cards to share with you today, with two very different looks. For my first card, I've used the gorgeous Inspired By Christmas set to create a vintage Christmas card. I LOVE this Santa, it's one of my most favorite stamps. I stamped him onto Primitive Cream Cardstock using Hot Fudge Ink and then cut out the panel with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-Namics. I framed it with a Hot Fudge panel cut with the Dainty Doily Die-Namics.
I used Kraft Ink to sponge all the edges, and on the Factory Green panel I stamped "Noel" repeatedly in Factory Green Ink. I've used the Poinsettia Die-Namics to create the flower, and cut it from Electric Red, Factory Green and Primitive Cream Cardstock.
The sentiment, "Tis The Season" was stamped onto a Primitive Cream panel cut with the Sentiment Strips 2 Die-Namics.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment, "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" in Hot Fudge Ink.
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

For my second card, I went with a brighter look, using a color combo that perhaps is not the most expected for a Christmas Card, Kraft, Berrylicious, Bubblegum and Sour Apple.

I stamped the darling Pure Innocence Holiday Hugs snowman onto X Press
It Blending Card and colored him with Copic Markers. I cut out the
panel with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-Namics. I added a bit of glitter
to both the snowman and the snowy ground.
I used the Jumbo Mod Borders and Sour Apple Ink to stamp onto the Sour Apple panel. I stamped the Bubblegum panel with Art Expression Text using Bubblegum Ink. I cut a trio of flags using the Bitty Banners Die-Namics, and attached them to the card using three Snow White Buttons tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment in Black Licorice Ink, "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas".
