Hi everyone! Happy Monday!
Welcome to Day 1 of the MFT July Release Rewind! Today, I have two cards to share with you, with two totally different styles, using some of the brand new products just released from MFT! You can find the entire new release HERE in the MFT Boutique!
I am LOVING how many cards I've added to my birthday card stash thanks to the new products this month, and here is one more to add to the pile! For this card, I started by cutting the balloons from Smooth White Cardstock using the new Balloons Die-Namics.
I then stamped the balloons using the Party Balloons set using Berrylicious, Lemon Drop and Red Hot Ink. I stamped the balloon strings in Black Licorice and then popped the balloons up with Jody Boosters.
On the bottom of the main panel, I added a bit of interest by stamping a piece of Smooth White Cardstock with the Jumbo Mod Borders stamp set in Black Licorice. I LOVE the bit of movement it adds to the card. I cut "Happy" from Berrylicious Cardstock using the Happy Birthday Die-Namics, and "birthday" is stamped in Black Licorice Ink using the Bitty Banners stamp set.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Greetings in Black Licorice Ink.
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
For my next card, I went out of my comfort zone, and I am SO happy that I did! This card was SO MUCH FUN to create! I used Tropical Sensations and the Tropical Sensations Die-Namics, and started with a piece of Primitive White Cardstock and then, using the Petal Pattern Stencil and modeling paste, I created the background. I am in LOVE with how it came out! I don't know why I haven't tried this sooner!
After creating the background, I lightly sponged the panel with Kraft Ink to soften the edges and bring out the detail. SO cool right? The sentiment, "Sweet Friend" was stamped onto a panel of Primitive White Cardstock with Black Licorice Ink, cut with the new Sentiment Strips 2 Die-Namics. I anchored it to my card with a Grapesicle Button tied with Hemp Cord.
I cut the flowers from Smooth White Cardstock using the Tropical Sensations Die-Namics. I then stamped the flowers in Sno Cone, Blu Raspeberry, Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, Pink Lemonade and Bubblegum. The flower centers were stamped with Banana Split and the leaves in Factory Green. I added shimmer to the center of the flowers using MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze (love).
On the inside I added another flower along with the sentiment, "Aloha" stamped in Black Licorice Ink.
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
