Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday and Happy MFT Release Night!
The new release is available right now, right HERE in the MFT Boutique! Before you fill up your cart, the MFT Design Team has the New Product Tour to share with you each and every set just released! Tonight, I am SO very excited to share the fantastic new Trick Or Sweet set with you!
I LOVE this new set, and it is SO super versatile! Tonight, I've created two cards, as well as a trio of candy/treat holders using this new set (plus quite a few other new goodies!).
First up, I have a card using Trick or Sweet for both my background panels and the focal panel. I started with a card base of Black Licorice, and then added a Kraft panel, which I stamped with Darling Dots using the new Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. This ink is AMAZING...add it to your cart, you will be SO happy you did! The coverage is seriously incredible.
On the Orange Fizz panel, I stamped the text stamp from Trick Or Sweet in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. On the Grapesicle panel, I stamped "BOO", also from Trick or Sweet, repeatedly in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.
I cut the tag using the new (and super fab) Layered Treat Tag Die-Namics, using Smooth White, Black Licorice and Orange Fizz. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed it with White Embossing Powder. Before attaching the circle panel, I tucked in a Hemp Cord bow.
On the inside, I stamped a row of polka dots from Darling Dots in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and stamped "BOO" again, this time in Black Licorice Ink.

For my next card, I used Trick or Sweet to create my background (see, super versatile. Love it). I started with a card base of Kraft, and then cut two layers, Smooth White and Orange Fizz, using the Blueprints 5 and Blueprints 6 Die-Namics. I stamped the text stamp from Trick Or Sweet in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink onto the Orange Fizz panel, and sponged the edges with more Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.

I stamped the sweet Pure Innocence Pumpkin Girl onto a panel of X-Press It Blending Card, and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out the panel with Blueprints 6 Die-Namics, which I also used for the flags and the panel under the button. LOVE.
I added a pumpkin cut with the Halloween Charms Die-Namics cut from Orange Fizz cardstock. I sponged the edges with Orange Fizz Ink. I used the Mini Wavy Pennants Die-Namics to cut the Kraft panel, and stamped "Boo" in Black Licorice Ink. I anchored them to the card with a Sweet Tooth Button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside, I cut two more Smooth White panels with the Blueprints 5 and Blueprints 6 Die-Namics, and stamped the sentiment, "Happy Halloween", in Grapesicle Ink.

Next up, I created a candy/treat trio! These were SUPER fun to create/decorate! Here is a picture of all three together. I created a candy bar holder, a decorated mason jar full of candy corn, and a sweet little pumpkin treat bag!

Here is the candy bard holder. SO.MUCH.FUN. I used the tutorial HERE on SCS, and it was super easy and super fun. I stamped the text stamp (can you tell I love this stamp) from Trick Or Sweet in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink onto Orange Fizz Cardstock for the main holder. I added a belly band cut from Grapesicle cardstock, stamped repeatedly with "SWEET" in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I added borders to either side using the Blueprints 6 Die-Namics.
I used the Layered Treat Tag for the focal panel, cut from Smooth White and Black Licorice, and stamped the sentiment in Jellybean Green. I used Black Licorice Grosgrain Ribbon to pull up the candy bar, and to tie the top shut.
Next I created a little treat bag using the FANTASTIC new Paper Bag Treat Bag Die-Namics and the Paper Bag Peek-A-Boo Die-Namics! SO easy and seriously, SO super cute. I am planning on whipping up quite a few of these for Meredith's class this Halloween. I cut the bag from Orange Fizz Cardstock and sponged all the edges with Orange Fizz Ink. I added a Banana Split panel behind the cut out so it looks like the pumpkin is glowing.
I cut a tag from Kraft cardstock using the Notched Tag Die-Namics, and stamped "To:" in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I attached it to the bag with Hemp Cord, anchored with a Black Licorice Button.
Lastly, I created a sweet little tag for a mason jar full of candy corn. I cut the panel of Smooth White Cardstock with the circle die from the Layered Treat Tag Die-Namics. I stamped the sentiment in Orange Fizz ink. I attached it to the lid with Hemp Cord and a Black Licorice Button. Easy peasy!
