MFTeasers: Day Four!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!  I am SO glad it's the weekend!

Welcome to Day Four of MFTeasers!  The amazing October release will be available on Tuesday, October 7th at 10PM HERE in the MFT Boutique!!

I have a card to share with you today using one of my favorite new sets from this release, Holiday Subway Art!  LOVE!  I love subway art when decorating my home, so I was SUPER excited to get inky with this set!


I cut a panel of Black Licorice Cardstock with the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, and I lined up all the sentiments on my block, stamped them all at once onto the panel with Versamark Ink, and then embossed them with White Embossing Powder.


As I was creating my card, I realized that the Electric Red I've used for the main panel, combined with the Black Licorice, was giving my card a Santa Claus vibe.  I then added Hemp Cord tied around my card and tied on a Lemon Drop Yellow button...it reminded me of the gold on Santa's belt buckle.  


On the inside, I uesd Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics to cut the main layer and mat (I used these for the front as well), and I stamped more sentiments, and the decorative accent, in Black Licorice Ink.

    Love the sentiments, but I really like how to tied the bow on button on the back I do not remember seeing this before, it is always in the front. Great Idea

    So funny but as I first glanced at your post I thought the same thing you later wrote-Santa. The colors are perfect and the addition of the yellow button to round it out is awesome.
