Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
Welcome to the second day of the December MFT Release Rewind! Both yesterday and today, the MFT Design Team is sharing projects using the newest products just released. You can see all of the fabulous new products right HERE in the MFT Boutique!
Today, I have two cards to share with you! My first card features Pure Innocence Wish You Were Here, Typewriter Text Background, Polka Dot Cover Up Die-Namics and Blueprints 10 Die-Namics!
I stamped this darling new gal in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out the panel using the Pierced Oval STAX Die-Namics.
I embossed the Gumdrop Green panel with the Polka Dot Cover Up Die-Namics using the Embossing Pad Duo. The Pink Lemonade panel was stamped with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink using the Typewriter Text Background.
I used the new Blueprints 10 Die-Namics to cut the circle and heart elements (which I LOVE), and I placed it on top of a panel cut with the Mix & Match Banners Die-Namics. I added a ribbon/bow combo using Pink Lemonade Grosgrain Ribbon.
On the inside, I added another panel of Gumdrop Green and stamped it with the Typewriter Text Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I stamped the sentiment, "I Miss Having You Near Me" in Black Licorice Ink.

My second card features Grand Peaceful Wildflowers, Blueprints 10 Die-Namics and the Polka Dot Cover Up Die-Namics! I used one of the provided sketches for this card, and I love how it came out!
I cut the vines and leaves using Blueprints 10 from Gumdrop Green Cardstock, and the flowers from Pink Lemonade Cardstock. I added some crystals to the center of each flower.
Using the Polka Dot Cover Up Die-Namics and the Embossing Pad Duo, I embossed the Kraft panel, and then cut it with Blueprints 10. The sentiment, "Hello" is from Grand Peaceful Greetings, and I stamped it onto a Smooth White panel using Black Licorice. The panel was cut with the Blueprints 10 Die-Namics.
On the inside, I cut another Kraft panel using Blueprints 10 Die-Namics, and stamped "Thinking Of You" in Black Licorice.

ReplyDeleteHi Jodi, just looking around after viewing the banner and I love both of these cards -- I do love the vine so much, and I love the center of the flowers that you made! So romantic! It just makes me think of wedding season! The first one, the PI one, the tab you made with the bits from the Blueprints -- this may be a stretch -- are you familiar with Shimelle Lane, the scrapbooker on TwoPeasinaBucket? She also has her own classes and one of them is "Journal Your Christmas," sort of an alternative to December Daily, and one of the things she does is a tag sort of thing for the days of the month, she did it one year anyway, she didn't do it this year, but others have and this tab would be perfect for a date layered thing. She also does a once a week video for 2Ps called "Glitter girl" and she does lots of layering of "goo gaws", aka embellishments -- you could teach her! :) XOXO Mary
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love those sweet little pink blooms with the silver middle.
