Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
It's time for the MFT Release Rewind for the incredible Feburary Release! Yesterday and today, the MFT Design Team are sharing more inspiration using the latest products from MFT! Remember, the entire release is available now right HERE in the MFT Boutique!
I have two cards to share with you today! This release has been SO much fun and I just have not wanted to stop stamping!
My first card features the adorable new Pure Innocence Sassitude, Striped Background, Blueprints 12 Die-Namics and Little Lowercase Letters Die-Namics!
I stamped this cutie onto X Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out the panel using the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-Namics. The layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch from last week, DS136.
I feel like I always reach for the same colors, so today, I stretched myself a bit and went with a bright fun color combo of Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop, Steel Grey and Smooth White. I super love these colors together! I stamped the Lemon Drop panel with the new Striped Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and stamped it on an angle for a different look. The banner was cut with the Blueprints 12 Die-Namics, and I spelled out "avery" using the Little Lowercase Letters Die-Namics. This is actually NOT for my Avery, but a different Avery whose Grandma asked me to make a card for! I think I need to make one for my Avery too!
Here is a look at the striped panel again (which I LOVE), as well as the flower, cut with the Blueprints 12 Die-Namics again. I cut the flower from Lemon Drop Cardstock and the leaves from Sour Apple Cardstock, and I topped off the flower with a Sweet Tooth Button.
On the inside, I cut two panels using the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics, (which I also used on the front), and stamped her again, this time in Razzle Berry Ink. I then stamped the sentiment, "100% Girl" in Black Licorice Ink.
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
For my second card, I've used the SUPER fun new Zipper Die-Namics, along with the fantastic Cheetah Background and the Little Lowercase Letters Die-Namics!
Meredith is going to her first friend sleep over this weekend, and I needed a card for the Birthday girl. This new Zipper Die-Namics creates the most FUN cards, and I created a little sweatshirt card today inspired by the clothes from Justice (do you have girls...if you do you may know of this store...hugely popular with my daughter and her friends, and pretty much everything has glitter on it).
I started by cutting a panel of Steel Grey Cardstock using the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics. I stamped the Cheetah Background using Versamark Ink, and I then added Heat & Stick Powder. Once I heat set that, I added some shimmery glitter. I love how that turned out!
I used the Little Lowercase Letters Die-Namics, along with the previously released Little Lowercase Numbers Die-Namics, to spell out "HB2U". I cut them from both Smooth White and Razzle Berry Cardstock and then layered them, slightly overlapping them, for a fun look.
The zipper pull was super fun to create! I cut it from silver glitter paper (you can never have too much glitter when it comes to 8 year olds), and I cut the little flower charm from Smooth White Cardstock. Using Versamark Ink, I coated it three times with White Embossing Powder, heating it each time between coats, and I wound up with a sweet little charm that looks like enamel (also super popular with Justice clothes), I attached the charm to the zipper pull with some silver thread.
On the inside, I cut two panels using the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics, and stamped two sentiments from LLD Friend Request, "#HAPPYBIRTHDAY" in Black Licorice and "Friend" in Razzle Berry.
