Happy Birthday To A Wonderful Friend {MFTWSC168}!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week, we are up to MFTWSC168!  I just LOVE this sketch, and I had so much fun with my card today!  I've also been playing around with my camera in my never ending quest to get a good picture...I am pretty happy with how these came out...what do you think?


It's been AGES since I've used any patterned paper, or even bought any paper pads, but I just could not resist the new papers from Chickaniddy!  Today, I've used Date Night on my card.  SO pretty right?   I used three different patterns on my card, and I cut a panel of Smooth White Cardstock for the sentiment panel using the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics and stamped the sentiment, "Happy Birthday To A Wonderful Friend", from Pretty Poppies, using Black Licorice Ink.  I anchored the panel to the card with a Safety Orange Button tied with Hemp Cord.


I used the Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics to create the circle panel, and I cut it from Grout Gray Cardstock.  I am pretty obsessed with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics...I think they are my most used and well loved Die-Namics.  As I also normally do, I used the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics for the main layer and mat.


On the inside, I again used the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics for the main panel and mat, and I added another strip of patterned paper.  I stamped "enjoy your special day" from Birthday Greetings, using Black Licorice Ink.
