MFT Release Countdown: 5!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

We are counting down to the amazing new May MFT Release!  The entire new release will be available on Tuesday, May 13th at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today, I have two cards to share with you, and they both feature the AWESOME new You Were Meant To Sparkle stamp set!  I am IN LOVE with this new set!  My first card also features the new Pinstripe Background, Pegboard Cover Up Die-Namics and Sequins Die-Namics!

I cut a Smooth White panel using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics, and I stamped "Leave A Little" in Razzle Berry Ink, "SPARKLE" in Black Licorice Ink and "Wherever You Go" in Blu Raspberry Ink.  I added some shimmer to the word "SPARKLE" with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

I cut the Kraft Background panel using the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics and embossed it with the Pegboard Cover Up Die-Namics and the Embossing Pad Duo.  The Black Licorice panel was cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-Namics (LOVE) which I stamped using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and the new Pinstripe Background.  I added a trio of sequin accents cut with the awesome new Sequins Die-Namics, cut from Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry and Sno Cone Cardstock, sprayed with the MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist.

On the inside, I added another Kraft panel cut with the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics, and another Black Licorice panel cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-Namics and again stamped with the Pinstripe Background.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

I cut a Smooth White panel using the Blueprints 2 Die-Namics, and I stamped "You Were Meant To" in Grape Jelly Ink, "SPARKLE" in Black Licorice Ink, and then sequins stamped in Lemon Drop, Orange Fizz and Blu Raspberry.  I added shimmer to all of the stamped sequins using a Clear Wink of Stella Marker.

I used Black Licorice Ink, cut with the Rectangle Frames Die-Namics and embossed with the Pegboard Cover Up Die-Namics, to frame the sentiment.  Super simple but I think it packs a punch.

On the inside, I added another two panels, and stamped a trio of sequins using Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop and Blu Raspberry Ink.  I added more shimmer to these as well.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

  12. Jodi, this set reminds me of a story a high school classmate, who is now an OB/GYN nurse practitioner. She was younger and performing a pelvic exam. She asked the older woman if she'd been to a party the night before. A party with glitter. There was glitter and sparkle everywhere -- literally. Um and I like the cards! :)
